Today, of course, these images are commonplace, thanks to a new generation of commercial air cleaners. But in 1945, the promise of fresh and healthy indoor air was a rather bold concept. Yet long before environmental pollution became a global issue the far-sighted founders of Cincinnati Air Filter Sales Service (CAFCO Filter) dared to envision clean, comfortable, inviting indoor air in a variety of settings.

From the operating systems and corridors of hospitals where clean air management is a medical necessity to the meeting rooms of office buildings and busy kitchens of dining halls where quality indoor air is an integral part of business success, to the privacy of individual homes where a refreshing indoor environment says "welcome home" - CAFCO products can be found.

"A breath of fresh air." That's been the CAFCO Promise since the company was launched. A distributor for Purolator Products, Columbus Industries, Alnor Instruments and Honeywell Commercial Air Products, CAFCO Filter offers a complete line of air filtration products to its numerous customers, and primarily provides regularly scheduled air filter services that include both labor and materials.

CAFCO employs 25 people in two locations that combine for more than 19,000 square feet of warehouse and office space to serve its customers. With locations in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, CAFCO is able to provide air products and services to southwest Ohio, southern Indiana, and northern Kentucky.

Providing quality products and service at competitive prices has also been an important goal of the company for more than 60 years-one that involves a high priority commitment to education.

CAFCO Filter is a charter member of the National Air Filtration Association. Through NAFA, the company has certified three Certified Air Filter Specialists (CAFS) and six NAFA Certified Technicians (NCT) who are on staff. Additionally, CAFCO's respected service department has more than 60 years of combined experience.

CAFCO is also a member of the American Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Association of Facilities Engineers (AFE).

Company distinctions also include a number of prestigious awards and honors. For example, CAFCO and the County Justice Center (Cincinnati, OH) earned the NAFA Clean Air Award that recognizes a facility and its staff who, through the use of air filtration, has upgraded and improved the overall air quality of the facility.

Additionally, eight CAFCO customers/facilities have received the Honeywell Clean Air Facility award, which recognizes establishments for making their indoor air comfortable and healthy for patrons while complying with OSHA's environmental smoke directives. Recipients of the award proudly display plaques and decals sporting the Clean Air Facility designation.
